🎬 LILIAN CÁZARES 🇲🇽 is a music marketing expert with over 9 years of experience in the industry. Throughout her career, she has closely collaborated with emerging artists and leading companies in Mexico, Latin America, Spain, the United States, and the United Kingdom, developing effective strategies that enhance the visibility of artists in digital media.
🔥 Since 2015, Lilian has combined her two primary passions: music and marketing, directing creative campaigns and working with companies like Universal Music. Her mission is clear: to empower musicians so that their art reaches the right audience worldwide. As Director of Digital Music Marketing and Creativity, she has successfully managed various projects, positioning numerous emerging artists on the global stage.
👨🏽🏫 In addition to her strategic work, Lilian also shares her knowledge through conferences at renowned institutions, including Berklee College of Music, TEC de Monterrey, and G. Martell music school. Her educational efforts also extend to social media, where she provides guidance to musicians on managing their careers and growing their audiences.

🖖🏽 LILIAN CÁZARES In an interview in NOISE is the Message
Lilian Cázares appeared on our radar during the pandemic. Due to social media algorithms, her posts on music marketing and practical, simple, and above all, achievable advice regarding the music industry started to become evident.
We first started following her, later downloading her resources, and finally, watching and listening to her videos and live streams.
Lilian, a migrant and native of Mexico, currently develops her professional career in Madrid, Spain, where she collaborates in various ways with all kinds of artists, whether they are emerging, professionalizing, or already established. Alongside her team, she develops strategies to help artists strengthen their concrete connections within the music industry, their audience, and, primarily, with themselves.
Additionally, it is essential to highlight Lilian’s deep love for music, especially jazz, and that’s true love. From there, we are sure, comes the inspiration for all her campaigns: A Love Supreme, as Coltrane would say, which becomes evident in everything she does.

💻 About our PROCESS
Third meeting on practices, tools, and strategies that could help musical artists develop and enhance their careers, craft, and profession.
The interview with Lilian Cázares took place on a very particular date that unites fragments of identities: on one hand, the disgust and rejection towards dictators on both sides of the Andes, and on the other, the deep anti-war stance that we deploy conversation after conversation in this project.
It is also part of the project to highlight our ideological foundations to maintain a profound dialogue with our guests.
This is how we initially proposed a series of interviews, either from a complementary approach or alongside our main focus: those linked to experimental arts, music, and art in general. We were particularly interested in including a group of experts in their respective fields. The fourth guest, due to scheduling issues, was unable to attend the meetings.
Gerardo was responsible for the rough cuts of all the interviews, assembling more than six hours of recorded material in Audacity on his Mac, doing the first cuts and initial reviews of the registered material.
Later, in El RUIDO’s editing booth, the material was edited in Ableton Live 11, meticulously refined in Ocenaudio for Windows, and the final process, which is the result you hear, was completed by returning to Live.
This editing carries the most wonderful music that delay and convolution reverb processes can create.
📣 Thus, we release a new NOISE of the 2024 cycle.
