🎬 Beatriz Carbel is a prominent cultural manager and expert in the music industry with over fifteen years of experience in Córdoba, Argentina. Her career focuses on music marketing and the promotion of independent artists, ensuring their growth through strategic positioning. As a label manager, Carbel is dedicated to the distribution and promotion of independent musicians’ releases, enhancing their visibility both locally and internationally. Additionally, she serves as a press agent, managing the communication and positioning of national artists and local events.
🔥 Carbel teaches at the Institute of Contemporary Culture in Córdoba and at Estudio Urbano (Buenos Aires City Government), offering training on the dynamics of the music industry. Through her agency, Marketing Musical 360, she leads consulting and promotion projects, focusing on the comprehensive development of musicians and music ventures.
Academically, Beatriz Carbel studied musical composition and cultural management at the National University of Córdoba, and she has furthered her education with diplomas in entrepreneurship creation and cultural management in territory. She has also completed several courses related to music business, copyright, and promotion.

Meeting BEA is a great privilege. It’s also true that it’s hard to keep up with her pace: she’s always moving fast. And her approach to everything is just as fast. With Bea, the idea is to question everything, rework, reinterpret, and keep moving forward. It’s practically the philosophy of open-source software: execute, copy, distribute, study, modify, and improve.
When we considered discussing the Music Industry in this space, we didn’t hesitate to put her name on the table. For two years, Beatriz has crossed paths with El RUIDO in different contexts, always for the same reason: training on the rights and duties of the Music Industry with its agents.
We conducted an interview that was a constant exchange of opinions based on readings, experiences, and innate knowledge. It’s always a pleasure to connect with social actors in this way, where the current climate is essential to having these discussions at the dawn of an era of intolerance, where many hard-won achievements are slipping backward without the slightest intent for debate, discussion, or reflection.
Together with Beatriz, we make a call for more dialogues like these, or others. Dialogue, discussion, and debate of ideas are not synonymous with inaction; on the contrary. Handing over our voice to those who limit our rights—that is.

💻 About our PROCESS
We carried out the dynamic we established for this internal thematic cycle: conversations with intermediary agents in the Music Industry. Gerardo was in charge of selecting sections, and Franco edited them surgically, although it may sometimes go unnoticed.
Time is pressing.
The editing in our trusted DAW tells us it will be another two-hour montage, but this time we won’t venture into the non-linear montage of plots and subplots. Instead, the dynamic of the interview itself proposed an unexpected non-linearity.
Likewise, we recovered the wealth of information on the mentioned artists, either explicitly or implicitly, to decorate it in the form of a carefully curated playlist.
The dogma remains: fragments of an 8-hour piece, to be listened to at night, will play in the background, fading in and out randomly, while the robotic voices of the Pitchloop89 chorus do their work. The automation denotes a small detail that I hope, with careful listening, you can notice.
📣 Thus, we release a new NOISE of the 2024 cycle.
