Real Music is the watchword of Wilder Gonzales Agreda, Peruvian from North Lima, for Real People is the act, a synthesis of curiosities put at the service of pleasant listening.

Real Music For Real People is the name of the last work published by Wilder Gonzales Agreda, on February 14, with 7 tracks “with 42 minutes of tekno idm space music. This is what I have been doing since the mid-90s until today 2020.” he tells us.

The construction process of Real Music For Real People is practically subjective. It’s the day to day that each artist designs to conceive and give birth to his work. Wilder has to his credit an interesting amount of published works, product of his tireless curiosity and musical melomania. Each album have to its own sound identity, which concatenates with the previous one and surely with the later one. On this, we identify some details from his previous work, Music For Dreamers.

“To create the songs for this album, I sat in my laboratory/room, with my Volca Korg and Waldorf Rocket keyboards. After practicing, I extracted sounds, explored and then recorded the most interesting moments. Later, on the computer, I cut the pieces and designed the compositions. This is how I built my last albums from Lima Norte Metamúsica on 2014 to this last one on 2020.”

The construction processes of each album or each piece always vary, but in each artist he finds a way to group together to develop a method. In this case, Wilder’s to constantly listen to his entire environment, then try to decipher it with his machines. Group and then put it into a composition, release an album. Maybe the form will vary, but the result is a same, an album.

“I could say that it influences me a lot from day to day. I live in the city (Lima, Peru) in Lima Norte. Sometimes I travel to Lima Centro. What happens to me in my day to day when I go to the market, when I travel in the bus / metro, things that I read or see in networks, politics, Odebrecht, corruption, the increase of the fascists, right-wing brute and hostile, the counterculture… All this is always present in my daily routine. That’s what triggers and shapes my creativity.”

This is how the 42 minutes of creativity are arranged, the individual aspect of everyday, the walk, the news… This is how Real Music for Real People sounds. Each track does not leave you indifferent, repetitive signs, soundscapes, live performances, but the characteristic of this psychedelic post-rock more experimental than spatial, is how the audio was worked. The message is clear, it is practically pure, like Wilder’s ideas . Something that we cannot deny when we listen to him on his interviews, when we talk to him or read his reviews. His sound is the constant search to sound like his speech, clean, without doubts, without a double message. Even when the tracks leave you unhappy, wanting to develop the idea further or one expects “something more” to enjoy the climate generated in the song.

“Music teaches me that it’s worth staying alive to continue enjoying music. It is the only thing that gives meaning to everything. To Feel the Ether in my mind, heart and soul.”
