Meaning, TIME, permanence permanence is the paper developed by Gerardo Figueroa Rodríguez for the 2023 Chiggiana RadioArt Festival, where he investigates processes in relation to three fundamental axes in Lira’s work, the voice, the written text and the record. Starting from the analysis of the 1981 recording of the text “Es Ti Pi“ by Lira himself and released post mortem. The original audio (of very low quality) is reconstructed with audio restoration processes involving some aspects of AI, new synchro and digitised audios.
So, between processes, interpretations and commentaries, we released a new Es Ti Pi in this radio programme.
Essay on Rodrigo Lira developed and performed by Gerardo Figueroa Rodríguez and co-produced by Franco Falistoco in August 2023 and reworked for this broadcast in November, 2023.
